Coffin Crushers – Exclusive pre-release artwork!

Fanagram presents: exclusive previews of unreleased artwork directly from the creators of the sublime Coffin Crushers Comic. Read on to get a first-look at this pre-release content that’s so hot off the press you’ll need oven gloves for your eyes.

If you know anything about anything you’ll know that we love our comics here at Fanagram. It’s safe to say we know our stuff. So, when I heard about Coffin Crushers Kickstarter campaign I headed straight over to check it out!

Here’s how the creators describe it:

"In this fun adventure comic, we follow a unit of vampire hunters who operate legendary Coffin Crushers. These War-Mechas have but one mission: To crack open the vampires vaults and tip the scales of this eternal war!"

Now, the first thing that struck me from the initial scroll through their campaign page was the art style. Wonderfully evocative and just the right balance of serious and fun made me want to find out more.

There’s a lot of content out there competing for your attention, and being able to stand out from the crowd speaks volumes about the work already gone into this project. The characters are compelling, the worldbuilding is rich and the setting is a refreshing take on the vampire theme.

The story goes like this: centuries ago a great vampire uprising pushed humanity to the brink of existence, and only by constructing heavily defended castle-clusters were mankind able to survive. Through the development of Coffin Crushers, awesome mecha-warriors, mankind were able to stabilise the tenuous balance between human and vampire. Now, in 300 A.V., dwindling resources demands action and a plucky team of Coffin Crusher pilots are tasked with pushing into vampire-held territory to save the human race. “What they will encounter will be unlike anything a human has seen since the early days of the vampire threat.”
