Report: Monday Boardgaming at Tiny Rebel, Cardiff.

Kicked off this week's gaming at Tiny Rebel with a spot of Terraforming Mars. It was my first time playing this game. I had heard a little about it but never had a chance to play. It took a few rounds to get the strategy down. The resident boardgame master won this one but I look forward to having another bash now I have bit more of an idea of what's going on.

Next up we knocked out a few rounds of Once Upon a Time. I've had this on my shelf for over a year now and only read the manual up until this evening. I love storytelling telling (I'm a huge rpg fan) and directing the story to your own ending is a great framework around which to weave your tales. I managed to snag a win at one of these although the rest of the table thought that the links to the ending was a little tenuous. I think they were just jealous of my victory.

Finally, we got some Ticket to Ride in. It was a pretty standard affair (which is code for me losing) and had a great time going off the rails on a crazy train.

There you go. Another Monday done and one step closer to the weekend...
