Fanagram had the pleasure of meeting Philip Hynes, Bears Head Miniatures. Keep reading through to the end of this short article for a little surprise!
Phil recently smashed his Kickstarter project goal thrice over. This, his third Kickstarter project to date, brings you a collection of wildlife minis.

Phil started from a passion for drawing, moved onto doing wedding cake toppers and sculptures of his son's favourite superheroes. Ultimately the natural progression of this combined with being a fan of D&D led him to start crafting fantasy minis.
We had an absolute treat being able to handle the actual prototypes that will be used to make the moulds used to cast the final product. The level of detail is really nice, the textures are spot on and they just feel great in the hand. It's been a while since I've done any kind of miniature gaming and wow, these really inspired me to get back into it.
Phil mentioned some of the feedback he had received from previous kickstarters he has run and how amazing it is getting pictures sent in of the models he has so lovingly crafted having been painted and used by other people. Check out some specimens from previous Kickstarter projects:

And as promised we have a very special treat for you - grab your chance of winning a collection of minis from one of Bears Head Miniatures previous Kickstarter Campaigns plus your choice of pledge (£10 or below) from the current campaign to be fulfilled when the orders go out. Simply share and like either the Twitter or Facebook post to enter (or do both to enter twice...).
We would be remiss to go without saying a massive thank you to Phil for sharing his time with us and letting us have a behind the scenes look at his work!
