Ahoy ahoy there lovely people! Fancy seeing you round these parts.... Fun times were had in bountiful beauty and beautiful bounty at last night's Cardiff Fanagram Board Game Group. Games were enjoyed, laughter was flowing and the beer was flowing too. Delicious flowing beer.

There was a game of Dead Last on the go when I arrived. If you haven't played this game I recommend that you cancel your planned evening with loved ones and play this instead. Hell, why not get the aforementioned loved ones involved, and enjoy some light backstabbing and double-crossing as you make and break allegiances in this fast paced, rules light card game where you compete to be one of the two last standing players duking it out for some delicious loot. Repeat this for a few rounds until someone scores 25 points. Now doesn't that sound more fun than struggling through boring conversation with your beloved partner/bezzie/child? Yes, yes it does.

Also played was The Shipwreck Arcana (for the first time at Fanagram Cardiff Boardgame Club) - a co-operative logic based game where the active player in each round cannot communicate with the other players during their turn. A nice game which resulted in success for the team. The artwork is steeped in style and spirit and the box cardboard is really thick which always scores bonus points!
King of New York saw some tabletop time too, along with a bunch of others that I can totally remember what they were....
Don't be a stranger on your own next Thursday - come along to Firestorm and be a stranger with us. We might even let you win your first game as a friendly gesture. Or we might not.
