Need a new series? Why not The Last Man on Earth... Kinda

The apocalypse has happened and Phil Miller is the last man on Earth. Except,  of course,  he isn't.

Will Forte created the show and stars as the lead. Whilst there are times of sillyness throughout it is still a far cry from the shockingly bad Macgruber, thankfully. Seriously - if you only take away one thing from this review let it be that you never watch that abomination. Moving on.

Throughout the show mature themes are dealt with, plot twists are handled with finesse and there are some hilarious moments that will stay with you for a while. 

The cast is great, but the show can sometimes suffer from what I call the 'Curb your Enthusiasm Effect'. It's when the main character can sometimes do stupid, annoying things but its the unreasonableness of other characters that put the main in bad situations that makes them seem even worse. Times when all the character are hating on Phil when in fact they are the ones being dicks. This is only a minor complaint and mostly forgivable.

If your looking for something fun and bit unusual then you can't go much wrong with LMoE.
